What Is TutShelf?

TutShelf is a simple design blog aimed at beginner and intermediate designers and developers. Being a blog run by a trio of teens we do sometimes include topics such as school and college into our posts, which is not in your typical design blog, therefore we like to at least think we’re trying to represent a new generation of designers & developers, one which is as good as the big boys on the block and still generally kicks ass! ;D

The Story

The TutShelf design blog was first launched in the Spring of 2008, along the way we had many issues and just months later later, made the decision that TutShelf wasn’t really going anywhere and subsequently shut the site down.

It was a month after that Alex decided to completely revamp the blog, not just the design but the entire strategy, which was rather unimaginatively dubbed TutShelf 2.0, this is where we’re at now and we’re hoping that we can get it onto it’s feet and heading towards it’s big brothers such as CSS-Tricks, Blog.SpoonGraphics, Tuts+, Smashing Mag etc.
